Lil Dicky to Perform at Kentucky
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 10 2016) — The Student Activities Board (SAB) is excited to announce Lil Dicky as the fall 2016 concert artist. Lil Dicky will perform 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at the Singletary Center for the Arts. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and excitement that Lil Dicky’s fans have expressed on campus — so we couldn’t be more excited to be able to bring him to the University of Kentucky,” said Jess Loflin, the director of Concerts.
Lil Dicky is an up-and-coming rap artist who has an amazing fan base on Kentucky’s campus. He brings a nice blend of comical entertainment and rap music and he is compared to artists like Childish Gambino and Chiddy Bang. He was featured in the "2016 XXL Freshman Class." He has recently been featured on a tracks with Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, Rich Homie Quan and Fetty Wap.
“Just by watching his YouTube performances I can tell that Lil Dicky is going to put on a fun and entertaining show,” Loflin said. “These tickets will go fast, so don’t miss out!”
Tickets will be available to students with a valid UK ID for $15 and to the general public for $25. Tickets are selling quickly. Those interested in seeing Lil Dicky should purchase tickets soon. Student tickets can be purchased in the Singletary Center ticket office. General public tickets can be purchased at the Singletary Center ticket office and online.
